It’s the time of the year where all you see is Lemonade. Well, at least I see it that way :P. Fresh lemon juice, water, little sugar, and fresh mint is an absolutely magical combination. Tossing in some fruit along with this is a true bliss for taste buds.

Coastal Karnataka barely has any winter. It is filled with rainy days and a long stretch of summer. My mom used to make lemonade after brother and I got home from school every day during hot days. Instant thirst quencher and energizer it is. Still our favorite.

I have started making a large batch of this drink in the morning these days. My husband loves to sip on this and work all day long. Toddler loves it too. Make this drink healthier by swapping sugar with a natural sweetener.

How to make Strawberry Mint Lemonade?

Ingredients that you need to make this recipe-

  1. Strawberries
  2. Mint
  3. Lemon
  4. Honey or agave nectar
  5. Chilled water or sparkling water

Optional ingredients are in the recipe card.

Here is how to make it –

Add strawberries, Mint, Lemon, Ginger(optional) to a blender. You can add more lemon if you like it tarty. Add tbsp more if needed.

Blend until smooth. Strain the juice if needed. I have strained the juice.

Then mix in chilled water or sparkling water. Add Honey or agave for sweetness. Serve chilled and Enjoy! Adjust the sweetness per your taste. I like it a tad bit less.

Ingredients

  • 8- 10 Strawberries
  • 1/2 cup of mint leaves
  • 4 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 inch ginger optional
  • honey or agave nectar for sweetness ~1/4 cup
  • 6 cups chilled water or sparkling water.

Instructions

  • Add strawberries, mint, and lime juice together, blend smooth.
  • Strain the juice (optional), mix in honey and chilled water/sparkling water as needed.
  • Add icecubes if you find it strong.

Notes

 Finish the lemonade the same day. This recipe is Cholesterol-Free and  very high in vitamin C
