Lemon Pepper Pickle

This is a spicy- sour pickle with the goodness of pepper in every bite, and it is completely oil-free.

  • 15 lemons
  • 3 tbsp pepper
  • 1 +1/2 cup water
  • 1 +1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp grated ginger optional


  • In a large pot, bring water to boil. Add salt.
  • Add chopped lemons, pepper, and ginger(if needed)
  • Turn off the flame, close the lid, and let it stay in for 5 mins.
  • and allow it to cool down completely.
  • Once cooled, transfer it to an airtight glass jar, and store it in a cool place.
  • Wait for the lemon to soften before you start using the pickle (Usually takes around 3-4 days)
