Falafel Pita Sandwich

Warm pita bread stuffed with hot falafels, cool cucumbers, juicy tomatoes, soft avocados, crunchy bell peppers and onions thoroughly drenched with spicy creamy cashew butter dressing. This is my most loved version of pita sandwiches of all.

I made this easy pita sandwich using store-bought Afia foods turmeric falafels. Heat them in the microwave for a minute before using and they are fresh as ever to use. This sandwich is super easy to make and barely takes 15 mins to put it all together.

How to make Falafel Pita Sandwich?

– heat and grease the pan. Warm pita bread on both sides and heat the falafels.
– chop the veggies and assemble the pita pockets
– You can make the dressing of your choice at home or use any store-bought creamy dressing. I topped the sandwich this time using @traderjoes vegan spicy cashew butter dressing which is loaded with lime, ginger, & red pepper. It’s just perfect with these turmeric falafels.
– Add pickled jalapenos to spice up the sandwich.
