How to make Hot Chocolate Oatmeal Bowl?

A teaspoon full of cocoa with tablespoon full of maple syrup mixed in with creamy oatmeal, gives you a hearty hot chocolate oatmeal. That easy!

Cook oats as per the instructions given in the packet with pinch of salt.

Stir in cocoa and maple syrup, and cook to your desired consistency. Milk can be added while cooking, just reduce the water and add in milk to match it. Based on your sweet-tooth, add more or less syrup.

Transfer the oatmeal to a bowl, add in toppings of your choice. I generously added frozen berries, flaxseeds, chia seeds, and toasted coconut granola. Granola adds a nice crunch to a bowl soft and creamy oats.

I hope you like hot chocolate oatmeal. It is –

  • chocolatey
  • hearty and satisfying
